The report(s) is/are issued by UGI, (United Gemological Institute) and to the jeweler/client on the following terms and
conditions.

| 1. The report(s) has/have been issued for authentication purposes for the Retail Jewellery Market. |
| 2. This certificate is not for valuation or quality.This is only an identification/grading report. So it cannot be used for appraisal purposes. |
| 3. This regular certificate does not indicate whether the stone was treated or not, for clarity and color by any process whatsoever. |
| 4. Tests which are not applicable or useful in identification /grading are not performed, especially in the case of rough stones. |
5. UGI, has examined the gem carefully by trained gemologists and prepared this certificate to the best of their knowledge in
professional standards. |
| 6.
UGI, related to the certification. By preparing the certificates UGI does not agree to purchase or replace the gem. |
7. In the event of any claim/ dispute of any kind by anyone against the employees or representatives of UGI, shall be limited and
restricted to a maximum, not exceeding the fees paid to and received by UGI in consideration for the report issued on a
particular item. |
8. The report (S) will be considered as invalid if any alteration/ duplication (S) are/is made to the mounted/ unmounted jewellery or
in the report itself. |
9. In the event of any claim by the client or any other person for the damage happened to the gem or damage resulting directly or
indirectly from the report, the liability of UGI shall be limited to the amount it receives as a fee in connection with the
report. |
10. Description or grading may differ or vary from the report, depending on time of grading means, methods and equipment used,
under what conditions and by whom the gems are graded and identified, grading may also differ and could vary due to
changes/improved techniques, technology and/or the use of equipments. |
11. The certificate contains a description of the article(s) based upon the application of generally accepted identification/grading
techniques used at the time of examination. |
| 1. All tests are not applicable or necessary for mounted gemstones.

2. Identification and grading is within the limit of mounting permits, measurements are approximate carat weight of the gems of
any piece of jewellery is as per the customer submitting the piece for grading by manufacturers according to the existing
formula. |
| 3. Clarity grading is based on 10X magnification as per the area visible and as per the mounting permits.
|
4. Color grading is based using the face-up method with the help of “master set comparison stones”. The color of surrounding
colored gemstones in the mount will affect the color of the diamond to a certain extent.

| 5. Cut grade is an average grade taking into consideration of the cut of the stones in a piece of jewellery.
|
| 6. UGI is an independent gem testing laboratory and has no financial interest in the sale of any gems or jewellery items.
|
7. The report shall be governed according to the Indian judicial systems. In all matters/disputes/references in arbitration shall be
subjected to jurisdiction within the state of Kerala. |
